Painted Bunting
2013-05-05 I caught a picture of a bird near French Lake. It was so far away I couldn't tell anything about it. However, when I got home and looked at the pictures, I found this amazingly colorful Painted Bunting! I didn't know birds this colorful lived in Oklahoma. Hopefully next time I'll get to see it a lot closer. Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge, Oklahoma.
